The Henderson Unit picks up from the following schools: Bissett, Bowerman,Boyd, Watkins, Weaver, St. Joseph, Williams, Pipkin, Reed, Central, Hillcrest.
At the Henderson Unit, we are all dedicated to work together to ensure our kids are going to gain in academic success, have good character and become great citizens in the community, as well as strive for healthy lifestyles. We are doing this by ensuring staff are using our “Formula for Impact”. Our Club is setting goals to ensure we offer the best Club environment by having a safe and positive atmosphere; ensuring the kids have fun; offer supportive relationships with parents, Club partners, volunteers, schools, and staff; give expectations and offer opportunities; and most of all, recognize our members.
We offer a wide range of special programs here at the Henderson Unit. One of our newer programs to check out is our Triple Play Mental Health Program. If you are interested in your child or adolescent receiving brief counseling services either individually or in a group, see the front desk at the Club for details. Starting services only requires about 10 minutes of paperwork then your child or adolescent can be scheduled that day. Another program we offer is our Mentoring Program. If you are looking for your child to have an one on one Mentor, this is the program for you. We will pair your child with an adult mentor who will visit once week for an hour. This is a great opportunity for your child to have another positive role model in their lives.
Hours of Operation
Summer – Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
School Year - Monday-Friday 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.(Tuesday nights we close at 6:30 p.m. due to Staff Meetings)
School OUT Days - 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, July 4th - closed for Independence Day
August 16th - 29th - closed for staff training
School Year Fees
$40 per child per semester; $80 per child for the School Year; registration fee is $5 per child (Covers: 1 lanyard, & 1 club card)
Summer program fees
The cost is $430 for the entire summer per child.
A $45 down payment per child is required alongside monthly payments of the remaining amount. The full amount includes a $10 registration fee that covers summer field-trip t-shirt, a club lanyard, and their first membership card.
